I can imagine that it would be neat if I were there by the sea of Galilee when Jesus called James and John. I can almost see him bending over to look me in the eyes. Then with a big smile and his eyes twinkling, I think he would say, "Come and follow Me. Let's go on an adventure."

Some people think being a Christian is bor-ing. that all you do is spend your whole life trying to be good all he time. It's a frustrating job because it's so hard to be good, and so easy to be bad.

But being a Christian is not about trying to be good all the time. It's more like a game of Follow the Leader and Jesus is the leader. When James and John followed Jesus they went to parties, saw Jesus calm a storm and heal lots of people, and tons of other stuff. Do you think they were bored? I don't think so.
